Welcome!
Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year at Mountain Elementary. Here you will find information about events in class, newsletters, pictures, and more! I am very excited to meet you and your children, and work with you all over the school year.
This year holds many great adventures for 2nd grade. In the fall, we will be testing out/piloting 2 different science programs. Not every teacher or grade is participating in this, and I believe the kids will enjoy what these programs have to offer.
In the spring, we will be doing some moving. As of right now, around spring break, the whole primary wing will be moving into portables. After we have moved out, there will be renovations done to the classrooms, as well as an auning installed along the back side of the building. This will be an adjustment for everyone; however, I have a feeling with support from everyone, we can make this a successful transition.
